PLAN-IT Hardware is about making "green hardware" mainstream - making it easy for local, independent hardware stores and home improvement centers to offer greener, healthier, more energy efficient products.
The home improvement business hasn't changed much in the last 100 years. It's still about providing the products and advice people need to maintain and improve their homes. (We should know - our roots go back to 1849!) But we all lead different lives today. Our idea of "home" has evolved to embrace our community, the local ecosystem and the entire planet. And we're growing more concerned about the impact we have on all three.
